Ros Southern is a Chartered Landscape Architect with 19 years professional experience in private practice and local authority. Since founding Southern Green in 1998 she has specialised in regeneration schemes, in particular urban design, environmental assessment and working with artists.
Ros is an external examiner for Edinburgh College of Art, a Professional Practice Examiner for the Landscape Institute, a regular guest tutor for Newcastle University and a member of Newcastle City Arts Panel.
Simon Green

Simon Green is a Chartered Landscape Architect with 25 years professional experience. Prior to founding Southern Green in 1998 he worked in local authorities and private practice and was project manager for the award-winning Royal Quays urban renewal project.
Simon specialises in housing and heritage projects and is an expert adviser for the Heritage Lottery Fund and has been a monitor for the Countryside Agency. Simon was formerly a member of the Grainger Town Urban Design Panel.
