GLENROTHES LEISURE CENTRE- 'FIRST SCHEME ACROSS THE BORDER' - Spring 2010:
Southern Green have once again joined forces with B3 Architects to begin work on a large landscape scheme for Glenrothes Leisure Centre in Scotland. The initial proposals include contemporary naturalistic planting.
PENNYWELL HOUSING SCHEME - Spring 2010:
Southern Green are working with Gentoo Homes to design the first phase of the Pennywell housing scheme. Designs have been prepared to exploit the elevated site topography, provide a pedestrian friendly environment, natural play opportunities for children in close proximity to their homes and to achieve level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
BLAKELAW HOUSING - Spring 2010:
Now that demolition of the old flats is almost complete work on the new proposals for Blakelaw Housing is progressing at a rapid rate. The team have now completed schematic design work for the site that is north west of Newcastle City Centre, and we are now eagerly awaiting feedback from the recent planning submission, fingers crossed.
RAISING THE STANDARDS - Spring 2010:
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the practice is run to the highest standards, we have recently completed the first step in implementing the new Integrated Management System. This includes our Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety procedures. We were thrilled our 'stage 1 audit' went smoothly - some final tweaks and we're set for the official audit in June!
