Southern Green was commissioned for a second time by this domestic client following their relocation.  Working closely with the client, we undertook the concept design, developed the detail and finally, oversaw the delivery of the project on site in collaboration with Premier Gardens.

The gardens have areas to soak up the sun, corners of shade and mystery, and striking visual depth and interest. Flowing geometries, a diverse planting palette, and sensitive selection of hardscape materials for colour and texture are key ingredients to the experience. A circular water feature with a timber deck was incorporated as the focal point of the design, anchoring a composition of circular forms that included defined planting beds, an open lawn and sheltered seating areas.

Our designs were complemented by and included the siting of sculptural elements from the client’s collection.

The project received a Bronze Award at the Association of Professional Landscapers Awards.
